Without our volunteers, the Westlock & District Palliative Care Society could not exist.  Our volunteers provide a special human touch to patients and their families.

In order for the Palliative Care Society to function we not only need visitors but also members interested in governance, communication, fund raising, publicity and growing membership.

Volunteers are guided and supported though learning modules on a monthly basis.  Applicants are requested to provide a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check, as well as a clear child intervention record check.  The Applicant must sign an Alberta Health Services confidentiality agreement

Education Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the Month in the Tele-Health Room at the Westlock Healthcare Center.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer of this organization is asked to contact us.
